Public Works Settles 4 Lawsuits
The Macomb County Public Works Office (MCPW) has settled four major lawsuits begun and left by the office’s previous administration. The settlements are part of Commissioner Candice S. Miller’s commitment to clean and open government.
The lawsuits included:
15 Mile Road Reopens; Sinkhole Repair Finished
Officials from Macomb County, Clinton Township and Fraser hold a ribbon as Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller drives through the ribbon, opening 15 Mile Road to traffic.
Work Begins on Stephens Relief Drain in St. Clair Shores, Eastpointe
Inspection of a second major storm drain in southern Macomb County began today (Oct. 25) under the direction of the Macomb County Public Works Office.
15 Mile Road Work Back on Schedule
The 15 Mile Road Sewer Repair project is expected to remain on targeted schedule for completion before the end of 2017, despite a sewage back up that caused more than a million gallons of sewage to enter the repair shaft of the broken pipe that runs along the border of Fraser and Clinton Township.
