Participants must not require nursing care. Our program's goal is to enhance the life of the clients and provide respite support for caregivers.

Our staff is a caring professional team providing quality experiences and purpose for the participant.

Admission Procedure:

The prospective client and their caregiver are invited to schedule a visit to the center of their choice. Visits are scheduled

for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  A visit allows for observation

and participation in the program's activities.

At a convenient time following the visit the caregiver and a program representative will participate in a detailed discussion

regarding the clients' needs and program operations.  Completed program admission forms will be reviewed.  The new

client will spend time with the activity coordinator so that a personal activity plan can be developed.

 Opening New Doors...Community Education Series

Please join us the second Thursday of each month (except for the 1st Thursday in November & December) for this interesting and educational series.  Presentations are from 10a.m. to noon at the Macomb County Southeast Health Center Auditorium, 25401 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores (just north of 10 Mile Road on the west side of Harper).  There is no charge for the education series.  Supervised care is available for adults for a $10.00 fee.  Registration is required to insure adequate handout information.  For additional information, a schedule of planned presentations or to register, call 586-466-6817.

 Dementia Services Discussion Group

Caring for someone with a Memory Problem?  Things can get better.  Attend a Macomb County Dementia Services Discussion Group meetting.  Discussion Group meetings are held on the forth Thursday of the month (except for the 3rd Thursday in November and December) from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at the Macomb County Southeast Health Center Auditorium, 25401 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores (just north of 10 Mile Road on the west side of Harper).  There is no charge to attend the discussion group meetings.  Supervised care is available for adults for a $10.00 fee.
