CCC - Creating Confident Caregivers

Macomb County Senior Citizen Services will host workshops designed by the Area Agency on Aging 1-B and the Alzheimer's Association to provide tools and information to help empower caregivers and relieve stress.

Care for your family member with dementia can be provided at no cost to you while you attend this workshop.

Adult Day ServiceSenior Services Adult Day Service provides support, stimulation, activities, supervision and interaction for the frail or impaired older adults. It is located in the VerKuilen Building in Clinton Township.

  • Shredding Day and Outdated medication disposal had about 280 cars that passed through the lines in an hour.  Absolute Shreds, the shredding provider who provides this service to our department for free, estimated that there were 6 1/2  tons or 13,000 pounds of shredding. Environmental Health staff reported 73 cars brought in unwanted medications and 121 pounds of non-controlled substances were collected.  The Sheriff Department collected 4 pounds of controlled substances.Thank you Absolute Shreds for your continued support!
