U.S. Department of Homeland Security has sponsored public service advertisements that educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to all kinds of emergencies.

Ready Campaign for Businesses

Ready Business is designed to educate small to medium-sized businesses about safeguarding their employees and assets while preparing for business continuity in the event of a disaster.

A Safer World

Two nonpartisan, nonprofit organizations, the Nuclear Threat Initiative and Families of September 11, are working to raise public awareness about the urgent need to lock down nuclear weapons materials and to urge the government to do more.
