Foreclosure

 

Home foreclosures have dramatically increased in Macomb County.  The foreclosure process begins after three home payments in a row are missed.  If you have missed a home payment or think you might soon, learn about your options from an unbiased source.  You may be able to save your house or manage the foreclosure so that starting over is less difficult.

Youth Services: 4-H, Mentor and Child Care resources

 

Childcare ServicesYouth Services provide a wide range of activities, events, clubs, mentoring, curriculum and training for youth, volunteers, and child care providers.

 

4-H Youth Development and 4-H Mentoring programs and resources are available covering topics including animal care, career preparation, entrepreneurship, environment, financial literacy, gardening, leadership, mentoring, and more.

 

Child Care resources are also available on topics such as choosing quality childcare, and classes to improve childcare workers’ skills.

alternatives to anger

 

This is an anger management curriculum developed by MSUE, Family and Consumer Sciences Programs.  The curriculum includes four lessons covering:  What anger is and what triggers it; Problem solving and stress managemenet skills; Developing communication and problem-solving skills; Forgiving and letting go of the past.

Nutrition Services

 

Health ServicesNutrition Services programs provide information and classes to educate the public on the importance of a healthy diet, proper eating habits and safe food preparation. This includes the Expanded Food & Nutrition Program and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
