The number of homeless people in Macomb County rose 3 percent in the last year, including more children unaccompanied by an adult, according to the Point-in-Time survey.

Macomb County Community Services Agency (MCCSA) seeks walkers and donations for its 19th annual Walk for Warmth. Funds raised assist income-eligible families, individuals and senior citizens facing heat shut-off or those in need of furnace repair or replacement.
