Activities and Recreation

 

The Activities & Recreation department is responsible for organizing and conducting all daily, weekly and monthly scheduled endeavors that our residents pursue during their stay with us.

Daily activities include Card Club, a variety of church services, Nail Day, Bingo, news discussions, exercise, sing-alongs and crafts.  Click on the image below to see an example of a monthly activity schedule.

                    

As you can see, at least once a month we schedule an "Out Trip" in the community.  Residents capable of leaving the facility under supervision are welcome to sign up and enjoy local restaurants, shopping malls, Tiger games, the Auto Show, casinos and more!  Pictures of these events will often be linked to below, and also on our What's New! page.

 

Volunteers

The A&R department is always looking for volunteers to help out with activities.  Sometimes our residents just need a cards partner or an extra helping hand.  If you would like to help or are interested in more information, please call the A&R department at (586)469-5614.  Thank you!
