TRAFFIC FINES AND POINTS
APPEARANCE DATE:
All CIVIL INFRACTIONS may be paid on or before the appearance date, either in person or by mail. This is NOT your hearing date. If you wish to contest the ticket and request a hearing you must do so either by phone, mail or in person on or before the appearance date.
WAIVABLE VIOLATIONS:
If an officer verifies on your copy of the ticket that the violation has been corrected, you must bring/mail your signed copy of the ticket to the court within 10 calendar days from the date the ticket was issued.
Failure to submit the corrected violation will result in further penalties, which may include the issuance of a bench warrant and/or the suspension of your driving privileges.
