COUNTY CLERK’S MOBILE OFFICE TO VISIT LIBRARY

Romeo and Washington Township residents will have the chance to access services offered by the Macomb County Clerk's Office without traveling to the county seat in Mount Clemens. Clerk Carmella Sabaugh's mobile office will be in the Romeo-Washington Public Library at 65821 Van Dyke, just North of 30 Mile Road in Washington Township, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25th. Residents can get help with birth and death certificates, business registrations, marriage licenses, circuit court records, voter registration, concealed pistol license applications and real estate deed requests. Only Macomb County records are available. Fees are:

Birth, death, marriage or business record, certified copy

$10 for first copy

$3 each additional copies of same record

Military discharge certified copy

$1

Business registration

$10 for filing, includes 2 certified copies

Marriage license application

$20 Michigan residents, $30 out-of-state

Concealed pistol license application fee

$105

Real estate recordings

$14 first page, $3 each additional

Real estate documents, certified copies

Minimum of $7: Add 50¢ per year if search includes more than ten year search and add $1 per page of record

Circuit court documents

Regular copies: 40¢ per page

Certified copies: $10 + $1 per page
