About 4-H... What is 4-H?
There are currently more than 35 4-H clubs in Macomb County, where members work with a large variety of project areas. A 4-H project can focus on just about any subject, as long as there are interested youth and an adult volunteer willing to teach. See the 4-H Program Directory to find clubs in your area, or start your own! Who is involved in 4-H? Who operates 4-H? What types of 4-H clubs can we start? Project Clubs focus on a single project or activity, and all members participate in the same project or interest. Club meetings are usually held on a weekly or monthly basis. Explorer's Clubs meet a minimum of six times a year to explore one or two projects or activities. These clubs are not usually ongoing clubs and activities are often conducted during a limited time frame based on the needs and interests of the members and their adult partners. Are there dues? How do I join 4-H? |
