Commissioner Brown is married to Audrey (Wilamowski) Brown and they have four children; triplet sons, Adam, Brandon and Conrad, and a daughter Olivia. The children attend school in the Romeo School District. Don and his wife Audrey have lived in Washington Township for over 28 years. Mr. Brown graduated from Rochester Adams High School, earned a B.A. in Political Science from Oakland University, and earned a Certificate, Executives in State and Local Government from Harvard University.
Currently Community Outreach Director for Congresswoman Candice Miller's District. He has served as Southeast Michigan Liaison for the Michigan Department of State as well as Associate Director of Governor John Engler's Southeast Michigan office.
He is on the Board of the State of Michigan Agriculture Preservation Fund.
Commissioner Brown is involved in the community in numerous ways by serving as a member of the Romeo-Washington Chamber of Commerce, Washington Lions Club, Macomb County Farm Bureau, North Macomb Sportsmen Club, National Rifle Association, Right to Life of Michigan, St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
