The U.S. Export Assistance Center is a partnership program between the U.S. Department of Commerce, the SBA and the Export-Import Bank. The EAC is designed to be a “one-stop” source for small business export information and assistance. Each center provides counseling, training, market research, and trade financing assistance, where EAC trade specialist works with small business owners to help them get information and advice necessary to succeed in the international marketplace.

Assistance may be obtained regarding; identifying the best markets for products and services, developing an effective export strategy, evaluating international competitors, identifying and complying with legal and regulatory issues, locating export financing, settling disputes, and learning about cultural issues and business protocol.
