In an effort to better serve Macomb County’s manufacturing and technology-based businesses, MCPED hosts a monthly meeting of select economic development service providers. These “Hot Prospects” meetings include representatives of the SBTDC (Region 10), Michigan Economic Development Corporation, DTE Energy, ITC Company, the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, Macomb Community College/M-TEC, Michigan Works!, and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Here, respective staff share information on client activities occurring across the county.

Through this exercise, it is ensured that there is a coordination of services provided to clients and that these services are delivered in a comprehensive and efficient manner. The meetings also offer participants the opportunity to share updates on their programs and discuss policy implications.
