Six hospitals provide nearly 1,400 beds with top-rated centers specializing in cardiac care, cancer treatment and orthopedic surgery.

Mount Clemens General Hospital

Mount Clemens General Hospital is a 288-bed acute care hospital located in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. More than 460 physicians and 2,600 employees work at MCGH making it one of Macomb County’s top employers. MCGH provides a full range of services including cancer and cardiovascular care. The hospital operates one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area and has recently opened a new Surgery Center.

St. Joseph’s Medical Center

Located in Clinton Township, St. Joseph’s Medical Center is a 435-bed hospital with a medical staff of 764 providing comprehensive, acute care. Services are provided to roughly 490,000 residents in central and northern portions of the county and surrounding communities. Specialty services include a Heart & Vascular Institute, which is affiliated with Henry Ford Heart & Vascular Institute; a Cancer Care Center, provided in partnership with Josephine Ford Cancer Center; a Women’s Center with 18 Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum suites; a 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation program; and the county's only hospital-based Ambulatory and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center.

St. John Macomb Hospital

St. John Macomb Hospital is a 376-bed facility offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. Our Centers of Excellence include Behavioral Medicine Services, Cancer Care, Cardiology Services, Emergency Center, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services, Surgical Services and Women’s Health Services and our state-of-the-art Webber Cancer Center. Recent capital investments include open-heart surgery and cardiac catheterization, and new operating room suites.

Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital

Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital is 203-bed acute care hospital in Warren is home to the oldest osteopathic teaching program in the nation. Bi-County offers a full range of clinical services, including 24-hour emergency care, surgery, endoscopy, medical imaging, inpatient and outpatient rehab, sleep disorder clinic, bariatric surgery unit, outpatient pharmacy and a weight management program.

St. John North Shores Hospital

St. John North Shores Hospital is a 96-bed specialty hospital that provides comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation, along with a wide range of medical and surgical services. St. John North Shores Hospital also provides emergency and urgent care, extensive outpatient rehabilitation services, and most ancillary diagnostic services.

Martha T. Berry (MTB)

Martha T. Berry (MTB) is a 217 bed long-term care facility which is owned, operated and financially supported by Macomb County. MTB is a unique facility, serving those Macomb County residents who require skilled nursing care, short and long-term rehabilitation therapy and hospice care.

St. Joseph’s Specialty Hospital

St. Joseph’s Specialty Hospital in Mt. Clemens is a specialty care hospital that includes 24-hour psychiatric evaluation services, along with outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, and long-term acute care, provided by Select Specialty Hospital.
